Andrew Carney

Andrew Carney is Program Manager for DARPA's AI Cyber Challenge and CASTLE programs. He is also a Program Manager at ARPA-H where he leads programs and projects to improve health cybersecurity. Andrew was previously a Principal Researcher in HSBC’s Cybersecurity Science and Analytics group. Before that, he was a Technical Advisor and Contractor at DARPA, supporting research efforts focused on reverse engineering, program analysis, human-machine teaming, and automated program repair. Throughout his career, he has been involved in CTF as both a player and a competition organizer. Andrew has over 15 years of experience in software and hardware vulnerability research, technical education and training, and management of research and development teams.
